This Privacy Policy describes how Biskit collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Biskit mobile application and related services in India. By using Biskit, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

To provide the service, we collect:

• Phone number — used to identify your account and contact you about your order.
• Name — shown to the partner store and delivery personnel.
• Delivery addresses — required so orders can reach you.
• Order history — items purchased, amounts, timestamps, and status updates.
• Device information — model, operating system, and app version, used for crash diagnostics.
• Approximate location — only when you grant permission, used to suggest your town and serviceable stores.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process and deliver orders, communicate order updates, prevent fraud and abuse, improve the Platform, and comply with legal obligations. Your phone number and address are shared with the partner store and the delivery person assigned to your order so they can fulfill it.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on Supabase to host our database, authentication, and realtime infrastructure. Order data, user profile information, and related records are stored on Supabase servers. We use Google Maps to help you find and pin your delivery address. We may also use analytics and crash-reporting tools (such as Sentry) to identify and fix issues. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only on our behalf.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order records may be retained for a longer period to meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements applicable in India.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Help screen or at anshuljainaj97@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal exceptions.

6. Children

Biskit is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections and secure credential storage on your device, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
